What a lovely, vivid, and relaxing description of the town, the shopping and the meticulous preparation of the pie. I almost feel I could make a pie crust after this, if I weren’t ready to fall asleep. Seems counter-intuitive for a cozy mystery to presage sleep, but in this case it works beautifully because the description is so lovingly detailed.
